How Jobmania Recruits Assistance Officers for Europ Assistance, Thanks To Pipplet

Pipplet Team • nov. 03, 2021

Jobmania is France's student recruitment agency. Its initial mission is to recruit the best candidates for internships, work-study programs, and student jobs on behalf of companies. The agency accompanies each candidate through the recruitment process, offering advice on their job search, CV, and interview attitude. Jobmania consultants also organize occasional employability coaching sessions.

In 2021, Jobmania extended its offer to include both fixed-term and permanent positions.

Thomas Rottier, Jobmania Recruitment Consultant, tells us all about it.

2021 was the year of a new direction, how did it happen?

Jobmania has been helping students find internships, work-study programs, and student jobs since 2010. But last year, Jobmania took a new step by entering the job market. We now help our customers recruit the best candidates for permanent and fixed-term contracts. For example, we have just celebrated our 150th recruitment for Europ Assistance!

How important are foreign languages in your business?

We have customers who operate internationally and, therefore, need to recruit multilingual profiles.

At Europ Assistance (European leader in travel assistance, present in 200 countries), for example, Assistance Managers need to speak several languages, including English, to be able to respond to policyholders' requests. This language skill is essential for Europ Assistance but also for many other partners.

That's why we pay particular attention to candidates' language skills during the recruitment process.

Why were you initially interested in Pipplet?

To meet the demands of our partners, we needed a tool to test candidates' foreign language skills. As we don't speak all the languages in-house, we turned to an external tool.

We realized that there were few players in the language assessment market, especially few that assessed linguistics AND professional situations.

We were won over by Pipplet's wide range of languages and attractive price/performance ratio.

After a few months' use, what do you think of Pipplet?

With Pipplet, the assessment of candidates is a little severe, but that's not a bad thing, as it certifies that the candidates selected have a very good level.

If you were to recommend Pipplet to your contacts, what would you say?

For me, Pipplet is a very interesting tool for testing foreign languages. Today, it has become indispensable.

The level of the graders is good, and we have confidence in their assessments. What's more, obtaining a candidate's language certification through Pipplet adds value to their profile and increases their chances of being selected for international positions.

Overall, Pipplet has greatly contributed to our recruitment process and the successful placement of candidates with strong language skills.

Do you think Pipplet can help you in your multilingual recruitments?

Send us a message, and we will be delighted to assist you!
