Based in Nice for over 20 years, Explora Langues
is a friendly, close-knit language school, allowing students to train in a convivial atmosphere which puts people first. Explora Langues offers training in English, Italian, Russian and French. Set up in 1998 by Catherine Del Giudice, and run since 2008 by her daughter Lisa and son Maxime, Explora Langues is proudly focusing on their student's needs; listening, advising, and reacting, to help them succeed in their training goals.
Maxime Del Giudice, the current director of the Explora Languages training center, answered a few questions about the relationship between Explora Languages and Pipplet.
Who can benefit from Explora Langues' services?
Our training courses are available to companies, employees, job-seekers, the self-employed and students over 16. Every course is tailor-made to the needs and the level of the student.
What prompted Explora Langue to choose Pipplet for its business needs?
We were looking for a language test which reflects today's world; a test which prioritises a student's ability to communicate by speaking, rather than the standard multiple-choice exams which don't test all of a candidate's communication skills. We also wanted an online test, available at any time, with reliable results vouched for by native speakers.
How has Pipplet helped Explora Langues meet its goals?
Pipplet
allows us to test our students' skills and progression more quickly at the end of their training course. We can now offer a professional certification within 24 hours that corresponds to companies' demands for speaking ability over and above perfect grammar. In addition, our students receive a certificate based on the Common European Framework for Languages (A1/A2/B1/B2) which looks good on their CV.
What is your impression of Pipplet and the services it offers?
We have offered Pipplet since September 2019. We have had very good feedback from our team of teachers and the results obtained have been consistent with our quality control standards. The dashboard also makes organising the tests and handling the results easier, with, for example, the automatic sending of the candidate's certificate to them directly, by email.
